Due to the amount of memory needed to make the images, they had to
be compressed using Dr. Barnsley's Fractal Imager. It is only possible
to view these frames with Mozilla Firefox (obtain free at:
http://www.Mozilla.com/). However, Fractal Imager is no longer available,
so that a number of steps are needed in order for the actual images to
still be seen. This can only be done in Mozilla Firefox now.
1. Go to: http://www.fortunecity.it/lunapark/sagra/5/fif.htm.
2. Use any "unzip" program and open up the following link:
{ Dezip "NPFIF.DLL into Mozilla Plugin Directory" &
"Deco_ 32.DLL" into win-subdirectory SYSTEM }
3. Unzip each folder. Look for the following files in the two
opened folders:
1. NPFIF.DLL
2. DECO_ 32.DLL (this will be found in a folder called:
(ThisIntoDirWindowSystem)
4. Make a copy of each file and place on your desktop.
5. Use Windows Explorer to locate the "plugsins" folder,
which is located off the Mozilla Firefox directory. If
it is installed on the "C" drive, the path is:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins
6. Now use the file manager to Copy the file "NPFIF.DLL"
from your desktop to this plugins directory.
7. Similarly, find your Windows system directory in Windows
Explorer. The path is: C:\Windows\system.
8. Copy DECO_32.DLL into this directory.
9. You will now be able to view the images in Mozilla Firefox
10. Note: if you have difficulty with the unzipping procedure,
send your email address to:
rspek@aol.com
and I will be happy to send you the 2 files you need.
